Having successfully traded under the name of CompuCar Limited since 1996, the newly named CompuQuote joined the Bollington Group at the beginning of 2008.
The award-winning Bollington Group originally founded in 1973 is now one of the largest independent insurance brokers in the UK. Handling gross premiums of £100m with multiple office sites throughout the UK, this was a strategic partnership between two very different companies.
The Bollington Group (Holdings) Limited is split into two main trading areas, Bollington Underwriting Limited and Bollington Insurance Brokers Limited. CompuQuote and Bollington Wholesale (previously trading as FM Green) forms the highly successful arm, Bollington Underwriting and arranges cover for other insurance intermediaries. Our service is an online offering making use of the excellent access to markets and buying power which has been strengthened since becoming part of the Bollington Group.
Using our bespoke advanced technology developed over a number of years, we can offer quick quotations at the click of a button. We are innovators of software solutions for the insurance market and continually strive to develop new web based products to satisfy the needs of our customers.
Our motor trade products offer a high degree of flexibility - daily, weekly and monthly rates are available for our products giving cost effective cover for companies who require it. With the added benefit of links to the DVLA and overnight MID updates along with the ability to self administer policies - we do offer a truly flexible service.
The future is exciting. More products are being added to the system all the time and we're now branching out into other product areas beyond our previous motor remit. Working hand-in-hand with our sister company, Bollington Wholesale, we're looking to offer insurances to a wider market including commercial and care sectors in the very near future.
